BEL-THALES Systems Limited is a Joint Venture Company (JVC) between Bharat Electronics Limited and Thales. Incorporated on August 28, 2014, the registered office of the company is located at CNP area, BEL Industrial Estate, Jalahalli, Bengaluru.

Design, development, marketing, supply and support of civilian and select defence radars for Indian and global markets is the goal of the Company. Benefitting from the confluence of work culture of the parent organizations, the JV has imbibed the best practices of both parent organisations. With appropriate technologies, the Company has grown into a centre for development, evolution and customization of products and a trusted supplier. The Company is presently engaged in the co-development of a Multi-Target Tracking Radar with Thales Netherlands to address the Indian weapon systems projects as well as the global requirements. BTSL has successfully customised and deployed a FM based Passive Radar Demonstrator in Bangalore. A well equipped Integration and verification facility for high end avionics systems setup is geared to fulfill the offset sourcing in the defense market. The Company is also involved in providing technical and product support for Air Traffic Management Radars.
